TUNTUN, the masked alter ego of Nathan Jamal (also known for his work under his own name and as Roseland En Why Cee), introduces a fresh creative identity built on freedom, movement, and playful experimentation. His debut EP, ‘TEXTURES’, channels that spirit into a raw and vibrant celebration of UK Bass culture.
Rooted in London’s rich sonic lineage, ‘TEXTURES’ weaves Jungle, Drum & Bass, Garage, and 2-step into a lo-fi, left-field blend. Layered samples, clipped vocal snippets, and crisp drums form a collage that feels chaotic, tactile, and unmistakably alive, an audio reflection of the city itself.
The lead single, ‘I Wanna Do’, sets the tone with infectious rhythms, sharp vocal chops, and subtle EDM accents. It captures the euphoria of losing yourself in a crowd, a feeling Jamal describes as “the party taking hold over you.”
