Roswell music on first listen may divide opinion, and that’s exactly why I loved it. His raw and truly organic approach to songwriting and musicianship as a whole really shines through in new single ‘without u’.
A bold and highly striking offering, ‘without u’ is full of grungy guitars, point blank in your face vocals and shattering lyricism. It’s cutting edge, direct and distinct. Roswell certainly leaves no pages unturned, and it’s evident in this stirring single.
“It was the end of my studio session and there was one track left. I happened to have lyrics for another song that I just couldn’t seem to finish. When I went to record I opened the wrong notes but still went for it. All of a sudden a completely new product was formed.”
