Fruit from Orange and Bathurst.
A Bordeaux blend that is light in the mouth yet full in earthy flavour with good acidity filling the mouth, drying your cheeks with pleasing tannins.
The resulting wine is dry and dusty with medium red fruit that is most pleasing to drink with or without food.
This is an honest Australian claret a little on the old fashion side of wine making. It is a real treat to drink, and what I think is one hell of a bargain..

The Food:
Once again, I only had nibbles with this. Prosciutto and good crackers. (not bad, however) I would suggest a full Sunday roast lamb with all the trimmings and that includes a white tablecloth and serving the wine from a flash decanter.
Wine fact: Well almost!
Depicted on the label is a Wallaroo most interesting is that Wallaroos can go for two to three months without drinking water. Big deal! – I hear you say.
