Worcestershire-based singer-songwriter Chloe Mogg is back with her first single in three years, “Heaven Sent You”. This vibrant alternative rock track, taken from her upcoming debut album “The Crazy One”, encapsulates one of the most memorable nights of her life. Chloe’s music is a fusion of diverse influences, creating a spacious and emotional journey for listeners. With a rich background in the West Midlands music scene and a dedication to bringing life and vibrant colors to her projects, Chloe is set to make her mark on the industry.

Chloe shares that “Heaven Sent You” is a tribute to an unforgettable night she experienced while performing at a festival in Bewdley. The connection she felt with the crowd was immediate, as they sang along, danced, and even formed “Mogg Pits” (their playful name for mosh pits). It was a transformative experience that reminded Chloe of her true calling in life—music. This song serves as an ode to that incredible night and the profound impact it had on her.

Drawing comparisons to the likes of Alanis Morissette, Jade Bird, and Sheryl Crow, “Heaven Sent You” embodies the essence of alternative rock. The track features haunting harmonies, fuzz-like guitar lines, and a pulsating drum beat that carries the listener through the song’s emotional highs and lows. Chloe’s powerful vocals add depth and authenticity to the lyrics, making it an unforgettable musical experience.

Chloe’s debut album, “The Crazy One”, is the culmination of a decade’s worth of experiences and personal growth. Through her music, she transforms relationship breakups, childhood stories, and identity crises into something positive. The album explores themes of mental health, discrimination towards disabilities, and heartbreak, all woven together by the common thread of growth. With engineering and mastering assistance from Alex Vine Ruiz at Swan Studios, the release also features notable collaborations with Ali Clinton, Jack Bowles, George Cook, Chloe’s Dad Ian Mogg, and Mirron Webb.

Chloe Mogg is not only passionate about music but also an advocate for raising awareness about ‘invisible’ illnesses. Her dedication to this cause led her to be featured on BBC Radio 1’s Minute of Me and as a featured artist for BBC News online, where she discussed discrimination against musicians with disabilities. During the first lockdown in 2020, Chloe co-created The 7 Arts Still Exist, an online platform that provided artists and musicians a space to share their talent. The event went viral and received acclaim from BBC Radio 1 and beyond, leading to Chloe’s recognition as a “Local Hero” at the AIM Music Awards in 2021.
