Hooked On Dancing in co-operation with Eddie’s Bandroom are delighted to bring you an event for lovers of dance and connoisseurs of ‘live’ music.

On August 24, 2018, some of Melbourne’s best musicians and singers brought together on stage

FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY

Stars of the Melbourne Nightlife scene, three amazing singers: Sarah Maclaine, J.T. and wylie J. Miller join forces at the Bandroom to present their interpretation of the classics of Soul and R and B music from yesteryear. They will be backed by Henry Diner and Bornstein Ultimatum which includes Henry on keyboard, David Bornstein on guitar, Joe Roberts on bass and Serge on the drums.

Last but not least-the fantastic line-up gets even better when special guest saxophonist, Marshall Rushford, rounds out the talented bill. One of Marshall’s specialities will be on display on the night…floating around the dancing crowd wooing the dancers with the haunting and sexy sound of his alto sax.

All this brilliant high energy music will ptease the lovers of dance. The rhythms of the sounds will stimulate movement from the dance lovers while the rest of the crowd can sit back and enjoy the spectacle of the dancers and their mesmerised faces. Hopefully many will be moved to join in the energy on the dance floor.

Supporting the dance side of things will be a session of free dance tuition for interested members of the audience courtesy of the talented dance team called Le Bop.

Hosting this special night will one of Melbourne’s best-loved characters Con Marasco, played by actor and comedian Tony Rickards.

Don’t miss this night. It’s not often these stars align. Be there or be square.
