At just 20 years of age, Bill Barber is one of the most exiting young artists in the thriving Victorian Blues scene.

Bill took an intrest in Blues at a young age and by 14 was making the rounds, sitting in with Australia’s most respected Blues artists.

In 2012, Bill won the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society’s Youth In Blues Competition and as a result was invited to perform at festivals Across Victoria including the Bendigo Blues and Roots Festival and End of the Line. He has since added a nuber of festivals to that list and has even acted as a booker for both Bealiba Blues Festival and the Youth Stage for Bendigo Blues and Roots.

A move to Bendigo (a hub for Victorian Blues) saw Bill take enormous steps towards a career in music, appearing on local television and radio. It’s sround that that time that Bill’s talent caught the eye of multi award winning Blues legends Geoff Achison and Lloyd Spiegel who have since become mentors to bill and had him as both support act and guest at countless shows. He has also played supports For Wolfmother, Claude Hay, Alex Legg and Shaun Kirk among others.

In 2017, Bill’s highly anticipated first album “Thanks for your Consideration” was released along with a marathon tour.

What sets Bill apart is his dedication to the Blues. While most young artist enter the Blues via the Roots music movement, Bill’s passion is for the blues in it’s true form.

” Bill Barber is next in line to become one of Australia’s Blues greats”- Lloyd Spiegel
