LLUCID (Lucas Herwig) is a young and passionate musician hailing from Germany. At only 26 years old, he has already established a unique sound and artistic style in his productions and songs. His second pre-release single, “Higher Energy”, is an anthemic and powerful track that defies the stereotypes of the hip-hop genre by combining rap and melodious vocals. LLUCID’s music is heavily influenced by American music, particularly the works of J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar. His extensive musical background, which includes playing instruments, singing, rapping, and producing, allows him to be versatile in his creative process. Llucid studied music in Mannheim but left to pursue his own music. He has collaborated with various artists in the rap and music scene, such as Wallis Bird and Hundreds. “Higher Energy” is a teaser for his debut album, Deep Blue Dreams, and showcases his unique sound, which differs from his first single, “Cast Away”. LLUCID’s experimental approach to music often surprises his listeners, but it is a reflection of his boundless creativity.
