As Larusta explains, the lyrics explore the unsettling feeling that comes with the realization that many of these assurances are fading away.
The track began as an experiment with the chords of an unfinished song, which Larusta masterfully transformed by shifting into a minor key. This shift introduces hauntingly rich tones that resonate throughout the piece, primarily driven by the distinctive sound of a Wurlitzer keyboard. The addition of cello, bass, and drums creates a layered, brooding atmosphere that complements the emotional weight of the lyrics.
