Hello!
Before I lure you to a bar room, I have to say how great Terry Serio‘s show at George Lane was. What an out-of-the-bag, wild, untameable beast of a show! A cavalcade of songs peppered with hilarity and humanity, I think they played themselves and we just followed as best we could. So happy to have been a part of it all.
SUNDAY 21 MAY from 5-7 pm
The Union Hotel Brunswick
A Country Mile is back at The Union Brunswick, I’ve corralled Shane Reilly, Ben Franz, Mike St Clair and Jack O’Dell to play some of my favourite songs from Laurel Canyon, Nashville and Memphis – Hank, Patsy, Lucinda, Bob, Loretta hits and lesser known favourites by the great Priscilla Bowman & Jessie Mae Hemphill. Going straight up & that moment when rockabilly didn’t know if it was country or R&B. We’ve got some Mr Wynette and country Elvis. From folk, to swing to funk.
