COLD DAY IN BNE 2025  BRISBANE’S PREMIER METAL & PUNK FESTIVAL RETURNS FOR A THIRD YEAR

Brisbane, Queensland – The frostbitten heart of Australia’s extreme music scene beats louder than ever as the team from Cold Day in BNE announces its 2025 lineup for the festival’s third devastating iteration. On Saturday the 26th of July, Brisbane’s most savage underground punk & metal gathering will take over the Triffid, delivering a full-day onslaught of brutality headlined by Manchester’s death metal juggernauts Ingested. They’ll be joined by Brisbane’s hardcore-terrorists Shackles, Melbourne’s Algor MortisGutless, plus many more.

Since its 2023 debut, Cold Day in BNE has cemented itself as Queensland’s essential extreme metal institution, the team work closely within the Brisbane scene to showcase the best of what it has to offer. Past lineups have featured DisentombExtortion50 Lions and Justice for the Damned, drawing a dedicated following of avid fans. The 2025 edition promises the festival’s most explosive lineup yet.

He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972. Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry.Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.
