WELCOME! It’s May Time and I’ve Got Lots To Share…

https://www.facebook.com/xanimusic/videos/802215676814767/

Hello and welcome old friends and new! I am currently sitting in Stanley Park in Vancouver writing to you all to let you know that my new music video for “Grey” is out now. You can watch it over here.

I’ve been visiting friends in a beautiful place called Invermere – a pristine valley up in the Rocky Mountains. I’ve been hiking and paddle-boarding and have gotten completely wrapped up in the beauty of our planet. Is anyone else an avid SUP-er? I’m so keen to do more of it. Anyway, I fly back to Melbourne later tonight just in time to play a couple of awesome shows to celebrate my new single this weekend. Details are:

For those of you far away, I’d love to say thank you for following everything that I’m doing. I’ll be working on creating some more videos and recordings to share with those of you who can’t make it to a live show, so stay tuned for that here or over at FB or Insta.

I hope you all have a lovely month and hope to hear from you all at some time.

Love xani

MAS_ CONCERT #2: RHYTHMS

Curated by me and featuring special guest THANDO

Rehearsals for “RHYTHMS” at The Toff In Town in Melbourne on June 24th are well underway. This new material is going to be so exciting and fun to play featuring super cool rhythms and grooves all played live on string instruments. It’s an awesome new project that I’ve co-founded with my mate Anita Quayle on cello (MAS_). Joining us on the night is Rich Vaudrey on cello and special guest Thando on vocals. It’s the dream team, people so snap up tickets now. > buy tickets

SPIRE AND A SHOW ALL ABOUT “PROGRESS”

Women On Stage

Over the last couple of years I’ve been building an empire of the best instrumentalists in Melbourne – all of who happen to be women! It’s been awesome seeing how this tiny spark of an idea has fanned into a giant flame, whereby heaps more women are getting opportunities to play. One of my favourite things to do is to music direct and lead an ensemble. I get a very special opportunity to do this with my SPIRE family for one night only as part of Monash University’s Smokestack Gala exploring the theme of “progress”. Everyone is invited to come along. There’ll be an original new song of mine in the mix, too. It all kicks off on May 17th in Clayton. > buy tickets
