Dizzy’s Big Band Featuring Peter Hearne  

Dizzy’s outstanding 18-piece Big Band plays every Wednesday playing traditional arrangements from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Count Basie and Duke Ellington through to modern masters such as Gordon Goodwin and Tom Harrell. Featuring a rotating roster of great singers each week. An absolute treat to listen to, undeniably the best Big Band in Melbourne! A lovely way to spend your Wednesday nights; dinner and drinks with Dizzy’s Big Band.

Jazz Cats

The Jazz Cats is a musical group that has been delighting Melbourne audiences since 2007. The current line up is a quartet of accomplished musicians who’s love for jazz has drawn them together to play some classic standards. There’ll be plenty of toe tapping numbers from the beloved swing and Latin repertoire, and moments of fragile romance with some favourite ballads.

The Glass Moon

The Glass Moon is comprised of highly accomplished professional musicians that offer a vast repertoire of tastefully re-imagined classics mixed in with the band’s memorable originals.

Singer Cam Giles Webb effortlessly creates a personal, warm, friendly atmosphere that manages to stay professional and intimate at the same time. Easy going, fun, enjoyable and classy. The Band sometimes taking you back to the golden years of jazz, and sometimes bringing those years into the now with a unique modern twist with their mixture of up tempo, jazz, smooth funk and bossa nova classics.

Daina Jowsey with Roger Clark Quartet

Roger Clark is arguably the best alto saxophonist in Melbourne. Having played with almost every jazz outfit in the city, Roger is well known across the board. Roger will be performing with his quartet, featuring renowned pianist Rory Clark and San Francisco’s Paige Smith on bass.

Featuring Daina Jowsey on vocals. Daina commenced piano and vocal lessons at age 7 and 11 respectively and five years later began her singing career with Four Part Invention, a jazz quartet who performed with the Australian Showband.

Daina  has toured Australia with several leading cabaret artists and has performed in various jazz festivals, including Paynesville, Monbulk,The Grampian’s, Inverloch, Montsalvat and Wangaratta jazz festival. She performed regularly on Bert Newton’s Good Morning Australia and performed with The Australian Pops Orchestra in Melbourne and at the Sydney Opera House.

Mick Pacholli

Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.
