A night of African Music, Food, Arts and Craft for the annual

AUCTION OF GIFTS AND PROMISES FUNDRASIER

The results focused charity, OrphFund, are hosting an evening of African food, music, auctions, raffles, drinks and more at the iconic Rose Street Artist Market, Fitzroy, to raise vital funds to support over 3,500 orphaned and
vulnerable children from Sierra Leone, Uganda and Kenya.

raise funds to help all of our projects across Sierra Leone, Uganda
and Kenya where we assist 3,500 children. We’ll be helping our
work get back on its feet Post-Ebola in Sierra Leone and we’ll be
creating farming and agricultural projects in all countries to take
further steps towards becoming self-sufficient’.

The event, the 5th OrphFund Auction in Melbourne, will feature
traditional African music performed by The Sound Mandala,
delicious vegetarian food, unique arts and crafts stalls and a range
of other surprises.

Steve has been humbled by the generosity offered by Melbourne residents and businesses so far ‘We have received over 150 private and business donations, ranging from handcrafted furniture, art, photography, accommodation packages, business services, dining experiences, to tickets and food products, it is a real honour to receive such glowing support.’

OrphFund is a volunteer based organisation helping abandoned, orphaned and vulnerable children from around the world. OrphFund offer a fresh approach to the world of charity. With a foundation of passionate volunteers OrphFund is able to send 100% of donations to their projects which support some of the world’s poorest children. No waste, just pure, simple giving. The charity have already housed over 350 orphans, sent 3,500 children to school, constructed 13
schools, 8 children’s villages, 14 toilet blocks and 7 wells, trained and hired over 40 support workers and shipped 80 tonnes of donations to its projects. The funds raised at the Rose Street auction will allow these numbers to continue to
grow.
