Chicago rap phenomenon Polo G hits Festival Hall Melbourne on Saturday, 31 October 2026, presented by Emete Entertainment. One of contemporary rap’s most compelling voices, Polo G brings a catalogue that has redefined what independent ambition can achieve at the highest level of the game. Tickets go on sale Friday, 2 October 2026 at 12pm AEDT via Ticketmaster.
Born and raised in Chicago’s Cabrini-Green projects, Polo G wrote his breakout single ‘Finer Things’ while incarcerated, with the viral video earning him a Columbia Records deal. His 2019 LP ‘Die a Legend’ cracked the Billboard 200 Top 10, followed by ‘The Goat’ (2020) making its debut at number two, featuring Lil Baby and Juice WRLD. ‘Hall of Fame’ (2021) was his first Hot 100 number one, powered by ‘RAPSTAR’ with Young Thug, Lil Wayne, DaBaby, and Nicki Minaj featuring on his third studio album. With the 2024 release of ‘Hood Poet’, Polo G cemented his place as one of the most commercially consistent and creatively formidable voices in contemporary rap.
Australian audiences rarely get the chance to witness an artist of Polo G’s calibre up close, and this Halloween show at Festival Hall is a genuinely rare opportunity. Emete Entertainment, Melbourne’s go-to promoter for world-class hip-hop, Afrobeats, and African music since 2014 has built a reputation for delivering unforgettable nights, and this one promises to be among their finest.
