Get ready, Get set! ……..MEMO Music Hall is about to take off!
We are super excited to kick off the new year next WED 25th JAN with ‘X’ – The INXS Tribute Show as they pay homage to one of the greatest Aussie rock bands of our time. These boys know how to put on a show and you will be pleasantly surprised at how amazingly similar they sound to rock royalty’s INXS. Given that it is a public holiday the next day, there is no excuse for not getting out and about, enjoying the buzz of St Kilda and getting your fix of quality live entertainment.
The fun doesn’t stop there groovers as DEREB THE AMBASSADOR makes his debut’ at MEMO for the first time on FRI 27th JAN, bringing you a unique sound that delivers energetic rhythms and melodies. Dancing is a must! Don’t miss your chance of seeing him perform live for this exclusive Melbourne show.
Then just when you thought our first week of music couldn’t get any better, the fabulous KARISE EDEN hits the stage on SAT 28th JAN! Karise brought the house down last time she played at MEMO as her song writing and vocal ability is second to none. Tickets are selling fast for this one, so make sure you reserve yours soon!

SAVE RADIO NATIONAL MUSIC CAMPAIGN
Friday 20 January marks the day last day that ABC Radio National will air ALL but one of their feature music shows. ‘The Daily Planet’, ‘The Inside Sleeve’ ‘The Live Set’, ‘The Rhythm Divine’, ‘Soundproof’ and ‘Jazztrack’ will no longer be broadcast on RN in 2017. For many years, these specialist shows have been the only platform for Australian independent, world, folk, roots, jazz, and indigenous music on a National level. For this reason, the disappearance of these shows will have an enormous impact on Australian musicians, touring musicians, visiting touring artists, festivals, small record labels, agencies, promoters, publicists and VENUES. The #saveRNmusic campaign are holding a National Day of Action on 20 January to protest these cuts.
