Hey Broadysheet baes,
I am The Sprink, your Single White Female with a far weaker grasp of English and life than you lot.
I am not cool in anyway, I’m not even kewl, but I have found the best cafe in Melbourne and it just opened up only two weeks ago. It’s on Smith Street near Johnson and is called Kaffiend . It is all organic, mostly vegan and totes gluten free.
Everything on the menu is designed to boost your energy like you’re off to a rave:
- steak that is rubbed with coffee
- choc espresso on the pancakes
- cola marinated spare ribs with whiskey sauce
- coffee bacon
- chia bowl made with chocolate (sounds it’s off it’s head)
- tiramisu inside a granola bowl
- green-tea french toast with guarana
- and potatoes that are purple
The tables, chairs, counter – everything – was handmade by the owner who used to be a chippie but is now 100% baetown. There is a back courtyard, big table inside for gang-brunch and tables out the front for being fabulous.
Anyway I reckon youse would like it.
