Hi folks, and welcome to Luna Live’s latest newsletter!
We hope the year has started well for everyone. There’s plenty happening in the coming weeks, so if you see a show that catches your eye, don’t leave it too late — grab a ticket, mark the date in the diary, and come and join us for a night of great music.
First up, something quite special is happening this Friday in Melbourne…
Hugo Race & Michelangelo Russo will be performing a powerful audio-visual show at Odeon Richmond. This show will be the only concert where the full audio-visual presentation will be performed, making it a rare opportunity for fans of Hugo and Michelangelo.
Opening the night is Belle Phoenix, performing a special solo set from her show Paradisiacal Dreams — an intimate and dreamlike performance blending haunting textures and cinematic songwriting.
Joe Camilleri & The Black Sorrows continue their run of shows with two upcoming performances in New South Wales and Victoria, presenting The Quintessential Best Of Tour. These shows are selling fast, so keep an eye on tickets if you’re planning to attend.
In other news, Dom Mariani is heading back to Europe next month to present his new solo album The Apple of Life. Over the years Dom has toured extensively across Europe with The Stems, Datura4 and DM3, and this time he returns with his solo project and band to showcase the new record. The album has already been described by several specialised European music magazines as one of the best albums of 2025.
And finally, we are also very pleased to announce a run of shows with the one and only Steve Kilbey from The Church. One of Australia’s finest songwriters, Steve will take the stage armed with his 12-string guitar to share stories and songs drawn from a lifetime in music.
