Made by an Erboristeria – Roughly translates to herbal master.
Wine-based, using dry marsala and a unique tree sap of Sicily, and a truckload of herbs and flowers, resulting in an amaro that is complex with bold layers of flavour.

In the glass: Dark brown with a sticky consistency. With a wonderful herbal nose, laser with hints of sage.
In the mouth: A bitter Italian cola creeps in mid-palate with that wonderful bittersweet herbal finish. Filling the mouth with herbs and bitter orange peel that lingers.

The rot has set in.
PS. This style of aperitif ( Vermouth) is well worth seeking out.
