Stonnington’s Annual Christmas Festivities

Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.

Christmas at Central Park
Saturday 10 December, 5pm – 9.30pm
Central Park, Burke Road, Malvern East

Bring along a picnic and join host Lucy Durack (Wicked) for a Christmas celebration in the park! From 5-7pm kids can create a Christmas treasure, get silly at an interactive workshop, sing along with Santa and enjoy unique performances, including The Mik Mak’s Christmas Show, Dancing Queen Parties, and  CircaNICA’s Giant Stilt Elves!

Carols follow at 7:30pm for those who can stay up a little later, featuring Lucy Durack, Josh Piterman (Cats),  and Helpman Award winning Casey Bennetto.

All performances will be Auslan-interpreted.

Sunday 18 December, 7.30pm – 9.30pm
Central Park, Burke Road, Malvern East 

The inimitable Rhonda Burchmore hosts Melbourne’s much-loved carols concert, featuring a stellar line up of performers including Bobby Fox (Jersey Boys), Amy Lehpamer (Sound of Music), and Verity Hunt-Ballard (Mary Poppins). Celebrate Christmas under the stars with a spectacular riverside fireworks display. 

All performances will be Auslan-interpreted.
