Our longest-running fundraising event, Music In The House, will return to Sydney on Tuesday 20 August at The Grounds of Alexandria.

This highly anticipated music industry fundraiser is an opportunity for us to recognise an Australian artist for their musicianship and, as importantly, their broader contribution to the community.

We’re thrilled to announce that our Excellence in the Community Award will be presented to the members of one of Australia’s most loved rock bands, Powderfinger.

Hosted by Jane Gazzo, with guest presenter Tim Prescott, the night will feature acoustic performances of Powderfinger classics by Paul Dempsey, Sarah Blasko, Davey Lane and Troy and Jem Cassar-Daley.

Tickets for the night have quickly sold out, but the online auction and raffle are open to anyone keen to help raise funds for music workers doing it tough and to access some amazing prizes including a one of a kind ‘Fender Am Vintage II Jazzmaster’ guitar which has been customised with Powderfinger’s Vulture Street album cover; tickets into the Leg Spinners Lounge on Day 2 of the Boxing Day Test at the MCG; some amazing technology including studio monitoring headphones and speakers from Sennheiser and a Moog Subsequent 25 paraphonic analog synthesiser, original artworks from Troy Cassar-DaleyReg Mombassa and Andrew Fyfe, plus VIP tickets to the hottest events on the music calendar including SXSW, Bluesfest, CMC Rocks, Laneway, Cold Chisel, Pearl Jam, Hoodoo Gurus, Hamilton, Jesus Christ Superstar, the ARIA Awards, APRA Awards and much more!

The online auction and raffle is open now until 9.05 pm, Tuesday 20 August, so register now and start bidding!
