I began to salivate just looking as a steady golden flow of inviting liquid filled the glass.
(sounds a bit like the start to a story, however true)

I knew what to expect just by pouring the wine into the glass as the perfume of citrus and stone fruit filled my nostrils.

I would once again like to point out that I drink my white wines at a warmer temperature than most people. Remembering that to chill is to kill the hidden flavours of wine – the same applies to red wine, as it warms and opens up the flavours change and improve, and the same thing happens with white wine.

The first sip of this wine; WOW my palate exploded with full flavours of lime, citrus fruit, and a creamy mouth feel followed by minerals and lingering acidity. The complex aromas and lemon flavours displayed in this wine as it opened up took me by surprise, delivering far more than I was expecting.

I am sure this wine will develop and improve with time and many years of bottle age. But I for one may never get to see it as I love this wine just the way it is, bright and fresh.

the Rot has set in.

I enjoyed this wine on its own. No food was required, it was just that good. Once again I make this statement in the right hands, Australia makes world-class Chardonnay that for me keeps getting better every time I open a bottle.

Wine fact:

Yes I know $65.00 is not cheap, however, you can easily spend that on a bottle of international wine and not be as impressed as this Chardonnay has impressed me!
