Mumbai Set to Host India International Music Week 2026: First Artist Lineup Unveiled

Following its landmark debut in Goa, the India International Music Week (IIMW) has officially announced its return for 2026. Moving to the bustling heart of the Indian entertainment industry, Mumbai, the second edition is scheduled to run from February 10th to 12th, 2026.

As the country’s premier international music trade conference and showcase festival, IIMW 2026 aims to build on the massive success of its 2025 inaugural event, which hosted nearly 400 delegates from over 30 countries.

The first artist announcement underscores IIMW’s core mission: Global Music Mobility. The 2026 roster features a curated selection of boundary-pushing artists spanning soul, jazz, electronic, and alternative pop.

The First Wave of Artists Includes:

Easy Wanderlings (India) – Soul-funk

Edwin Raphael (Canada) – Alternative singer-songwriter

J-Silk (France) – Electronic jazz duo

Jasmine Kiara (Canada) – R&B pop

Jeremiah de Rozario (India) – Singer-songwriter

Naari (Germany) – Alternative pop

Reuben De Melo (Australia) – Folk-pop

Siki Jo-An (South Africa) – Jazz and African soulful music

Tamil Jazz Collective (India) – Experimental collective

Tejas (India) – Pop-rock

Two Summ (India) – Art-pop duo

“IIMW 2026 is about giving emerging artists a stage and showing that music from India and beyond has the power to travel, connect and inspire,” said Sushil Chhugani, Director of IIMW & India Music Exchange. “The artistry on display proves that South Asia is ready to be part of the global conversation.”

After establishing a firm footing with representatives from major global bodies like PRS (UK), EMEE (European Music Exporter Exchange), and CNM (France), the 2026 edition promises a “bigger and bolder” format.

Key highlights for the upcoming edition include:

Expansive Conference Format: Deeper dives into industry trends, innovation, and the intersection of culture and commerce.

Multi-City Tours: Artist activations extending beyond the primary festival dates to reach broader Indian audiences.

Enhanced Representation: Increased participation from global markets and diverse Indian music ecosystems.

Innovation Segments: Dedicated programming focused on the future of the music tech and cultural exchange.

Launched in 2025 by the India Music Exchange (IMX), IIMW is the first platform of its kind in India. It serves as a vital bridge between the Indian music scene and the global industry, creating fertile ground for international collaborations and professional development. By bringing together festival bookers, labels, and distributors with emerging talent, IIMW is rapidly becoming the most influential music trade event in South Asia.
