Marti West’s background as an Anglo-Italian singer-songwriter, born in Tuscany to a family of musicians, is reflected in his unique blend of influences, which include The War On Drugs, Amanda Bergman, and Big Red Machine. His music is comparable to Simple Minds, Bon Iver, and The Tallest Man On Earth, and he has spent the last 6 years building a career through his emotive and introspective indie folk style. His previous work, including the 2016 debut EP Istanbul and the 2019 single ‘Give Me Light’, has been used in sync placements for NBC’s The Village and Volvo’s First Trip commercial, respectively, and was recently licensed for Netflix’s hit movie Love in the Villa.
