Ukrainian-American singer-songwriter Kelsie Kimberlin returns with “Dream of Peace,” a powerful single and cinematic music video released on International Day of Peace. Debuting at the International Peace Concert in Los Angeles, the work blends artistry and activism, reflecting Kimberlin’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian advocacy.
Filmed in Kyiv amid intense missile and drone attacks in August 2025, the video, directed by Denys Akulov and produced by TOBE Production, transports viewers from desolate, post-apocalyptic landscapes to a vibrant Earth teeming with life. In a striking narrative twist, Kimberlin encounters a fallen astronaut, revealed to be herself, culminating in a final shot of her amidst sunflowers under a clear blue sky, a symbolic nod to Ukraine and a universal plea for peace.
The track, produced by Ukrainian composer Yuriy Shapeta and Colombian producer Pedro Vengoechea, builds from orchestral and choral layers into a sweeping, emotional crescendo. Kimberlin’s vocals, guided by Larry Friedman, are both nuanced and powerful, while Grammy-winning engineers Liam Nolan and Stuart Hawkes deliver a pristine mix.
With over 100 original songs, tens of millions of streams, and accolades including the UN Humanitarian Award and St. George’s Royal Medal of Honor, Kimberlin continues to merge music and activism on a global scale. “Dream of Peace” exemplifies her ability to craft art that inspires hope, resilience, and change.
