jason singh announces heaven's greatest hits concert at the palms @ crown

Get set to be transported out of this world as multi-platinum award winning artist Jason Singh presents his Vegas-ready show ‘Heavens Greatest Hits’ at The Palms at Crown on Friday September 30.

Performing with a full band of top-notch musicians the Taxiride frontman brings his chart- topping album to life in this ultimate tribute to the great artists in the sky, including: Elvis Presley, Prince, George Michael, David Bowie, Michael Hutchence and Freddie Mercury.

This hit after hit spectacular leads you on an unforgettable journey celebrating the hits that have provided a timeless soundtrack to our lives. Inspired by the year 2016, the year we lost some of the most iconic musicians and songwriters the world has ever seen, Jason has spent years developing this show into a world-class presentation for music lovers of all ages.

Says Jason, “Where would we be without music? Music is like a personal time machine, songs and stories transporting us to moments in time within the first beat.”

“‘Heavens Greatest Hits’ is my tribute to those incredible artists we’ve both loved and lost.”

Featuring a two-set playlist of some of the most loved hits from the best vocalists of all time ‘Heavens Greatest Hits’ is a gateway for these legends’ legacy to continue to live and be enjoyed by live audiences worldwide.

“I can’t wait to hit the stage at Palms on September 30 and take the audience on this ride with me!”, Jason Singh said.

In addition to showcasing the incredible music of these iconic artists, Jason’s vocal prowess is a highlight as he shifts with ease through the various vocal styles and ranges unlike others. A prowess surmised by the late Jeff Buckley’s manager, Dave Lory who praised Jason’s stunning rendition of Last Goodbye as the best cover version of the song he’d ever heard.

Sharing stories of these musical influences on his life and career, ‘Heavens Greatest Hits’ sees the ever engaging Jason Singh joined on stage by a dynamic band in what can only be described as an infectious two hour non-stop extravaganza.

Finding success in the late nineties and into the noughties as lead singer of Taxiride, Jason has established himself as one of this country’s finest vocalists.

With two consecutive No. 1 platinum selling albums, nine Top 40 singles including the Top 5 hits ‘Get Set’, ‘Everywhere You Go’ and the most played song on Australian radio in 2002 ‘Creepin Up Slowly’ along with years of international touring, Jason Singh and Taxiride joined the legion of Australia’s biggest musical exports.

Add to this, two solo studio albums, a covers album and a string of singles including two dance club hits and Jason is one of Australia’s most in-demand musicians – touring extensively with a long list of accomplished artists including Mariah Carey, Rick Astley, Hanson and John Farnham. Jason Singh is mostly recently off the back of an east coast acoustic tour and his soaring vocals are currently being heard on high rotation across Australia with Taxiride’s anthem Get Set featured on Visit Victoria’s national ad campaign.

Tickets to Jason Singh’s ‘Heavens Greatest Hits’ in Melbourne’s The Palms at Crown are on sale now through Ticketmaster.
