Bozeman bedroom-pop artist delivers first new music since 2025’s Rolling Hills Road
Isaac Winemiller has released Solar Eclipse, a new double single led by focus track ‘In this Light’, out now. The release marks the Bozeman, Montana-based multi-instrumentalist and producer’s first new material since his 2025 sophomore album Rolling Hills Road.
‘In this Light’ explores the disorienting aftermath of a long-term relationship — one that, in Winemiller’s own words, “went through repeated cycles of breaking up, reconnecting, and falling apart again.” The track took shape over approximately two years, written, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered entirely by Winemiller from his home studio, with the exception of lead guitar. Instrumentation includes a Juno 60 and Waldorf synthesiser, Rhodes and Wurlitzer electric pianos, electric guitar and bass, and live drums.
The result lands somewhere between sensual bedroom-pop and dance-floor indie, drawing natural comparisons to the likes of Parcels, Vacations, and Yot Club.
Winemiller is a full-time touring musician who has performed internationally as bassist for Vansire, with a full North American Vansire tour scheduled for autumn 2026. He also produces and performs with a growing roster of independent artists across the Rocky Mountain region.
His 2021 debut Levels of Removal accumulated tens of millions of cumulative Spotify streams and earned an editorial Fresh Finds placement on Spotify, alongside coverage from Indie-Shuffle, Obscure Sound, and Kidwithavinyl. Rolling Hills Road followed in 2025.
Solar Eclipse is supported by a four-week playlisting and press campaign via Symphonic. A music video for ‘In this Light’ is in development.
