TO BE JOINED ON STAGE BY COLLABORATOR MARCUS MARR, NINE-PIECE CHOIR, HORN SECTION + MORE
+ OFFICIAL AFTER PARTIES FOR BRISBANE & SYDNEY!

Chet

With the Chet Faker Built on Live Australian east coast tour kicking off next week, it is with pleasure that we reveal new information about some very special guests joining Chet’s tour, as well as share details of the official after-parties in Sydney and Brisbane.

The Built on Live Tour will have Chet Faker performing an all-new show with supports from Silicon, Awesome Tapes From Africa, Cleopold, Otologic (Sydney only) and Nile Delta (Brisbane only).  Joining Chet on stage will be Dave Harrington (Other People) of Darkside on bass, a nine-piece choir and an extended band with its very own horn section.

Chet is also pleased to reveal that special guest Marcus Marr (DFA Records) will be appearing on stage to perform their new single ‘The Trouble With Us’, which has been all over the airwaves and internet since its release last week.

Tickets for both Sydney shows are completely sold-out, with only a handful of tickets left to the Brisbane and Melbourne shows. Fans are urged to get in quick to avoid missing out.

The official Built on Live after-parties will take place following the Brisbane show on Saturday 31 October at The Foundry, and following the second and final Sydney show on Saturday 7 November at The Basement.

The parties will feature DJ sets from Marcus Marr (DFA Records) and Dave Harrington (Darkside), with Otologic (Animals Dancing) opening in Sydney and Nile Delta (Cutters Records) opening in Brisbane. Tickets can be purchased now from the venue websites for $25.00 (inc fee) or $30.00 (inc fee) on the door, unless sold out prior. Punters are advised to pre-purchase tickets online.

Doors are 11:30pm in Brisbane and 11:00pm in Sydney, and the parties will run late into the night.
