A blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Meunier, aged on its lees for 50+ months before being disgorged.
On the nose a creamy hint of lemon and yellow stone fruit along with hints of damp soil.
Fills the mouth with cleansing lemon minerals.
Packed with sharp lemon acidity that is finished with a good creamy texture.
I was told that this wine would hit its straps around 2028.
Food – just nibbles.
Warm Chicken shredded, Camembert (room temp). Much to my surprise Parmesan paired well.
