Fresh off the back of their sold-out show with the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra, Bliss n Eso are back with bold new single ‘Not Today’, a hyped-up hip-hop hit about standing up for yourself and never backing down. The track comes with a music video directed by Nick Kozakis and Liam Kelly that will premiere on the band’s YouTube channel at 7pm AEST this Sunday night.

“Not Today’ is all about the little guy standing up to Goliath,” say Bliss n Eso. “If you get knocked down, you get back up and keep going. You keep striving no matter what the adversity you have in front of you. You show em that no one can mess with you and where you are going, NOT TODAY.”

As the band continue to refine and develop their sonic palette, ‘Not Today’ bridges the hard-hitting raps the band have become synonymous for with a modern production twist that bangs on headphones and festival stages alike. Premiering the song for the very first time on stage on their massive Australian tour earlier this year, the crowd were singing back the hook before the song’s end.

The ‘Not Today’ video will premiere at 7pm AEST this Sunday night.
Tune in HERE to see the video first!

Co-produced by Bliss n Eso and Jon Reichardt (360, Illy, Drapht), ‘Not Today’ comes with a mischievous video that will drop this Sunday night. The video sees the trio bring this energetic track to life in true Bliss n Eso fashion – with fire, cars and just the right amount of chaos. Set your reminders now to catch the YouTube premiere at 7pm AEST Sunday night.

‘Not Today’ is the follow up to last year’s ARIA #2 album The Sun which featured collaborations with Dizzee Rascal, ChillinIt and Kasey Chambers, and led to performances on ABC’s The Sound and Music From The Home Front. The Sun also achieved #1 album on the Australian Independent Record Labels’ Chart and the Australian Vinyl Chart, and came with a mammoth headline tour of 29 shows nationally.

The Sun was the massive follow up to 2017’s critically-acclaimed ARIA #1 album Off The Grid, which featured the trio’s triple-platinum smash-hit single ‘Moments (feat. Gavin James)’ (over 60+ million streams and winner of ARIA’s Best Music Video Award).

With their last four albums debuting in the ARIA Charts’ top #2, close to half a million records sold in Australia alone, and various prestigious awards and accolades, Bliss n Eso are hardly the underdog. But they will always stand up for the little guy.

Having just played magical one-off show with the 35-piece Brisbane Symphony Orchestra last month, the band are keen to hit the road again. Stay tuned for more news soon!
