Art in the Park is our annual community festival
Presented by the Friends of MGA along with their supporters the City of Monash Community Grants, Pinewood Community Bank, Ray White Glen Waverley, and Lions Wheelers Hill. Everybody is welcome to come and join the fun on Sunday 4 December from 12-4pm!
Free activities around the grounds and inside the building include:
- Morris Minor Car Club display
- Face painting
- Badge-making
- Guided tour of the gallery
- Live music – Chords cover band and the Moorabbin Brass Band
- Giant chalk drawing
- Library storytime
PLUS
Free workshops for kids, families and adults:
- African drumming
- Life drawing with a costumed model
- Draw a dreamcatcher
- Wet-felting (create your own felted shape in this very hands-on workshop)
- Photowalk around the grounds (BYO camera)

Art in the park is an ‘all weather’ event and most activities will move indoors in the case of inclement weather.
