Summer is in full swing and so is the Market! We are getting ready for our annual Mussel Festival – a two-day seafood street party. With more than five tonnes of molluscs our restaurants Simply Spanish, Koy, Paco Y Lola,Claypots Evening Star will be preparing the most mouthwatering muscles dishes you can imagine. Featuring some of Melbourne’s best Jazz you will also be able to enjoy an amazing amount of free live music We still have a couple of Night Markets left, Easter weekend, a new café, cooking classes and school holiday craft classes!

Night Market

With only two Night Markets left there is still time to party with us at this awesome event. There is an array of amazing food trucks and restaurants to choose from, live music, drinks, unique market stalls and kids’ activities – come on down!

Mussel Festival

A signature Melbourne Food & Wine Festival event. Come along to one of the biggest seafood street parties! With mussels galore and free live New Orleans jazz from some of Melbourne’s finest musicians! Saturday 12 & Sunday 13 March from 12:00pm.

Easter Weekend

Hop on down to the Market this Easter for all your shopping needs. From fresh fish to Easter eggs and Easter cakes, the Market will be bursting with flavour.

Easter Trading Hours

The Market will be closed on Good Friday (25 March) however we will have an extra trading day on Thursday 24 March to pick up all your Easter treats.

Canteen

There’s a new kid on the block in the Market Food Hall. Canteenoffers a delicious range of fresh fruit juices, salads, toasties, coffee and a whole lot more.

School Holiday Craft

Get hands-on with textile art and pot painting! In these classes you can paint your own amazing hand-illustrated cushion cover or concrete pot!

  2. A beautiful bunch of Easter Daisies from Emerald Hill Nursery
  3. A delicious Chocolate Rooibos tea from Tea Drop
  4. A little succulent Easter Ham from Alka Polish Deli
  5. An array of fresh seafood from any of our fish mongers

Mick Pacholli

Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.
