PRISCILLA’S NIGHTMARE
FEATURING SCOTT CARNE AND SPECIAL GUEST WILBUR WILDE
The Priscilla’s Nightmare band’s musical talent was hand-picked by Scott Carne for their stellar musicality, vocal skills and stage craft, creating a next-level Elvis tribute to The King.
In fact, Priscilla’s Nightmare gained such a reputation that when the Director of the Sands Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas was in Melbourne he asked Scott to bring Priscilla’s Nightmare to Vegas for a run of shows. Scott declined as he was about to go to London to record a solo record. Not only that, Ian “Molly” Meldrum was such a fan, he insisted that the band must make a record.
Priscilla’s Nightmare went into Sing Sing Studios in Melbourne to record a 7-track EP with an eclectic selection of Elvis songs and also penned three original songs in the old Rockabilly style. This resulted in their first single and video release for original composition by Scott Carne and Tony Fashe ‘She Ain’t No Woman (She’s An Angel)’. This song was showcased on iconic TV shows ‘Countdown’ and ‘Hey Hey It’s Saturday’. With the success of the first single Priscilla’s Nightmare released their second single, Elvis’ song ‘One Night of Sin’, a raunchy song that Elvis later re-wrote lyrics and changed the title to ‘One Night With You’. Their self-titled EP was released on vinyl, cassette and CD in 1989. It had great chart success which followed with a sell-out national tour.

TEX PERKINS & MATT WALKER
Tex Perkins has been around for a while now, The Beasts, The Cruel Sea, The Dark Horses, The Man In Black, T’n’T to name a few. Tex has built his reputation on a restless sense of adventure, an ability to evolve and adapt, a dark sense of humour and a knack for teaming up with uniquely talented players who help get the best out of him. Matt Walker is one such player, long established as a much-respected singer songwriter and much sort after guitarist, he’s worked with many great people over his 30 year career.
Tex and Matt finally released The Fat Rubber Band album in November 2021 which they wrote and produced together and are currently working on a follow-up album due for release before the end of the year. As a duo they play co-written originals, well-chosen heart felt cover versions and classics from Tex’s back catalogue (Cruel Sea, Beasts of Bourbon, The Dark Horses etc).

Joe is busting to get back out there but has not been sitting idle between sell out shows! He has been hard at work on a new Sorrows’ album and you should keep your eyes peeled for a great new live album including many of your Sorrows’ favs coming out later this year.
The Black Sorrows continue to be one Australia’s most prolific and enduringly popular bands renowned for their high-energy live shows, musicianship, and infectious, roots-soaked blues rock. They’ve sold more than two million albums to date and won an ARIA Award for Best Group.
Joe Camilleri has been at the forefront of Australian music for decades as the leader of Jo Jo Zep and The Falcons and The Black Sorrows and as writer of radio anthems Hit & Run, Shape I’m In, Chained To The Wheel, Harley & Rose and Never Let Me Go. Joe Camilleri is an ARIA Hall of Famer and, at 74 years of age, a rock’n’roll lifer who still rocks the house!
