Italian indie-rockers Masseduction just unveiled their highly anticipated track “Blame”. Masseduction’s journey began during the pandemic when singer Giordano Giacchetti, guitarist Salvatore Dragone, and bass player Lorenzo Galante responded to an ad on a Facebook group for local musicians. Due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, the trio focused on making music and demoing their first original songs. Their breakthrough moment came in the summer of 2022 with a captivating rendition of Billie Eilish’s “NDA” and a powerful studio live session featuring Halsey’s “Bells in Santa Fe”. This caught the attention of the local radio circuits and set the stage for their musical ascent.

With drummer Stefano Malagnino completing the lineup, Masseduction dropped their debut original song, “Eager Eyes” in March 2023. The track served as a magnificent sonic metaphor for the wildest night ever, portrayed through a mesmerizing 2D animation video by Mexican artist Nespy5Euro. The circus-themed video painted a vivid picture of a bustling party, complete with clowns, acrobats, animal tamers, and circus animals, cleverly reflecting the highs and lows of life’s chaotic moments.

Now, Masseduction is all set to release their punchy new single, “Blame” which was meticulously crafted across three iconic cities—Rome, London, and Los Angeles. The band’s dedication to achieving their desired sound led them to travel around the world. Recorded at Studio Miriam using analog outboard and vintage gear from the ’60s and ’70s, “Blame” boasts an authentic and timeless quality. Mixed by Inhaler’s engineer John Catlin and mastered by multi-Grammy winner Brian Lucey at his Magic Garden Studio, the track is a testament to the band’s commitment to delivering a polished and compelling sonic experience.

“Blame” is more than just a catchy tune; it delves into the depths of human emotion. Lead singer Giordano Giacchetti reveals that the lyrics are a cathartic expression of anger and disappointment, emotions that everyone experiences at some point in life. The track serves as a reminder that sometimes, we need to let go of the pain and disappointment we feel toward others or even ourselves. Masseduction’s ability to weave a tapestry of emotions into its music resonates powerfully with its audience.
