From ØFFËRÏNGŠ (Melissa Gilbert), the hyper-real universe of UnitePlayPerform is set to open on Tuesday, May 23. The five-day exhibition features a program of immersive events through the incredible venue of the old Union Bank.
UnitePlayPerform will be the first residency for the new Art at the Union Bank project, a collaboration with ADA consulting and the Banco Group’s Cecil Place Precent project.
A launch event for UnitePlayPerform will be held on Sunday May 20 from 12-1pm, with cupcakes, chicken sandwiches and champagne.
In an ambitious program full of participatory experiences that inspire play, co-creation, inclusivity, connection, community and radical self-expression, UnitePlayPerform is set to pioneer radical new pathways at the interaction of art, health, science and wellbeing.
UnitePlayPerform will see the Union Bank space bursting with large scale soft sculpture object art, wearable soft sculptures installations, live soundscapes, 3D animation, sensory sound tools and interactive tactile and tangible materials ready for participants to choose, build and embody. Through her week-long exhibition, ØFFËRINGŠ will be activating UnitePlayPerform interactive experiences including Ancient Future, Build and Destroy, Quintessence, Kinship and Utopia Playshops.
