JMQ Jazz Ensemble is delighted to feature fine guitarist-singer-songwriter, MATT KIRSCH, Upstairs at the welcoming Golden Gate Hotel on Thursday, APRIL 11 at 7pm, with guest, JUSTIN FERMINO on tenor-saxophone, alongside Tony Floyd, Kim May, Michael Harding & John Montesante.

MATT is a highly respected and sought after master guitarist & singer, who has featured and performed with many fine Australian & International artists, including Georgie Fame, Vince Jones, Ross Wilson, David Campbell, Wilbur Wilde, Marcia Hines, Movin’ & Groovin’ Orchestra and many others. It is always a thrill to present him with JMQ Jazz Ensemble.

JUSTIN is a saxophonist, clarinetist, composer, MD and vocalist who began playing music at the age of twelve. After tertiary music studies, Justin has enjoyed performing in Australia and internationally at venues and festivals and has also toured in Japan, China, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy and Germany. He has recorded numerous of his composition with various ensembles and performed with many ‘name’ jazz artists in Australia and abroad..

Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.
