It’s only weeks until Grand WaZoo’s final Soul Extravaganza for 2022 on Saturday, DEC 17, 2022 at Bird’s Basement, City 7.30pm. 
 
Australia’s most revered and longest running Soul Kings, the mighty 13 piece Grand WaZoo shall bring you a vibrant feast of soul music entertainment.
 
Unrivalled in the genre, the band shall blast through a range of classic 60s-70s soul + R&B hits and ballads, some rare gems and their own infectious originals.
 
This amazing band has performed continually since 1981 – with wide appeal to all generations. Soul music never grows old! Not to be missed.

Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.
