MULTI-PLATINUM SELLING DUO FRESH OFF 8TH GRAMMY NOMINATION WITH “LOVE ME LIKE I AM” FEAT. JORDIN SPARKS

Multi-GRAMMY® Award winning and RIAA Platinum-selling Curb | Word Entertainment recording artist for KING + COUNTRY will return to their roots in May/June  with “The Homecoming Tour.”  The special Australia arena circuit will kick off at Perth RAC Arena on 20 May and will continue through to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on 2 June.

The brother duo made up of Joel and Luke Smallbone will visit 7 major cities across Australia to bring fans an anthemic and encouraging evening of stories and songs including selections from their fourth studio album, “WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR?” as well as reflections from the forthcoming feature film “UNSUNG HERO,” and more.

Says for KING + COUNTRY, Can you believe it!?  Five whole years since we last played in the southern hemisphere.  It’s time to return.  Time for a homecoming.  And with it we’ll be bringing music from our latest album ‘WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR?’ footage from our forthcoming film UNSUNG HERO an electrifying, high energy live show and more.  We hope to see you at The Homecoming Tour across Australia this autumn.

The tour announcement comes fresh off the duo’s 2024 Grammy® Award nomination with multi-Platinum recording artist Jordin Sparks for their recently released song, “LOVE ME LIKE I AM.”  The single is up for “Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song” and marks the eighth Grammy® nomination of the duo’s career (with four wins).  “LOVE ME LIKE I AM (feat. Jordin Sparks),” was the duo’s 13th #1 hit single on Billboard’s Christian Airplay Chart, followed by their recent single “What Are We Waiting For?,” which marks their 14th #1 track (and 9th consecutive #1 hit single) on Billboard airplay.

Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.
