FOJAM GOES REGIONAL – JEWISH MUSIC HITS HEPBURN

We are thrilled to announce that FOJAM are going regional!

Carole King: Hits & Rarities is headed to the fabulous Palais-Hepburn in Hepburn Springs on Friday 24 of March 2023, after two nights at Memo Music Hall in St Kilda on Wednesday 22 & Thursday 23 March.

We couldn’t be more excited to bring the stories and songs of Jewish artists to a wider audience in regional Victoria. Many Jewish families have long ties to this beautiful spa country of Daylesford and Hepburn and it is only fitting that our homage to Living Legend and Jewish queen Carole King be performed here.

The first leg of our tour of Carole King: Hits & Rarities will be performed at Memo Music Hall, St.Kilda on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 March with tickets selling fast and access to Early Bird tickets closing in two weeks on Sunday 5 February.

Our incredibly talented line up will be coming from all over the country to St Kilda and Hepburn to cover King’s hits and rarities including –
Harry James Angus (former founder and Cat Empire frontman)
Emily Lubitz (lead singer of Tinpan Orange)
 Jem Cassar-Daly
Esther Edquist
(Lead singer of Sweet Whirl)
 Freeds
and introducing rising star Jemma Cher.

To support the vocalists we have an all star backing band who you will know from past Song of Songs (Shir Madness Melbourne favourite) tribute shows, including –
Jonathan Zion as Musical Director and bass player
Luke Howard on keys
 Andrew Sylvio on drums
& Fran Swinn on guitar.

FOJAM are excited to add new incredible cover versions to the canon of Carole King covers over the decades. You can do a deep dive here of some of the best cover versions so far 😉
