FLOW festival 2022 Cancelled, The Far Side (FKA The Pharcyde), Kamaal Williams, Wayne Snow and DancingWater to perform at FLOW Side Shows at The Croxton and Corner Hotel

The FLOW festival team has made this difficult decision to cancel this year’s event at Footscray Community Arts, but the news is not all bad…

FLOW Festival was born out of love for the community; rooted in sharing music, food and elevating one another – it’s been a beautiful ride, but it’s with deep and great sadness that FLOW 2022 will not be going ahead in its full capacity this year. Establishing a small festival in the current climate has proven difficult over the past few years, and the Foreign Brothers and The Operatives are truly crushed by this reality. “Supply chain issues, market saturation and increased costs around infrastructure and production have all played a part as to where we are. The arts have always been a tricky industry to navigate,” explains the FLOW team.

And, now for the good news: FLOW is excited to announce two smaller intimate FLOW Side Shows with The Far Side (FKA The Pharcyde) featuring members Imani, Fatlip and Slimkid3 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their classic debut album Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde at the Croxton on Saturday 29 October and then Kamaal Williams returning after his sold out ‘The Return‘ tour and Wayne Snow with support from DancingWater at the Corner Hotel on Saturday 5 November.

The Far Side (FKA The Pharcyde)
The Far Side (FKA The Pharcyde)

Co-presented by the Foreign Brothers and The Operatives as a part of ALWAYS LIVE, the first and largest event of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, dedicated exclusively to live contemporary music and turning the volume up across Melbourne and Victoria, the live music capital.

Current FLOW ticket holders will be issued with a full refund, with tickets for both FLOW Side Shows on sale now via flowau.net

The FLOW team would like to Thank You for your love and support and they look forward to returning in 2023. Don’t miss your chance to catch FLOW Side Shows this October and November.
