In this edition, learn about the Ferrars Street Precinct streetscape design endorsed by Council and find out more about the Melbourne wide walking project Walkspot. It’s also the last days to share feedback on the concept design of Crichton Reserve in Port Melbourne and outdoor commercial recreation activities in our City.

Ferrars Street Precinct streetscape design endorsed

At the Council Meeting on 5 April, Council authorised the design and delivery of streetscape works in the Ferrars Street Precinct following community engagement. The streetscape design includes school drop off zones, loading zones, visitor parking spaces, pedestrian crossings and a 40km/h school zone near the new school. Head over to the website for more information on the next steps.

Walkspot: How safe do you feel walking?

Share your walking experiences of the pedestrian network in our area. This Melbourne wide project led by Victoria Walks will help inform walking priorities and improvements. So jump on the interactive map to pin and comment about where you don’t (or do) feel safe.
