About Rick Correnza

From a young age, Rick Correnza has been surrounded by music. His father and uncles all played musical instruments and entertained Melbournians for the best part of 20 years with the famous Orchestra Volare!

Rick’s love and talent for singing was recognised by his father who encouraged Rick to study classical singing. From the age of 13, Rick became entrenched with a vast array of music – from classical Italian opera, the melodic sounds of Italian Neopolitan music, pop & rock and jazz.
After an education through various musical genres, pop, rock and jazz, the 40s, 50s and
the 60s was the sound that moved Rick the most.
