Andrew McConnell and Jo McGann, the owners of Gimlet, are taking over Stokehouse
After a 36-year run, the van Haandel family are moving on from Stokehouse, passing the keys to two of Melbourne’s most accomplished restaurateurs, Andrew McConnell and Jo McGann, later this year. McConnell is excited to lead the celebrated St Kilda restaurant into its next chapter while retaining what makes it so special. “We have enormous respect for its history and for the team that has helped shape it,” he says. “We’re inheriting strong foundations, and we’re committed to investing in its future while preserving the qualities and the people that have made it so well loved.”
Find out when McConnell and McGann are set to take over Stokehouse, and hear more from the new custodians of the storied seaside restaurant here.
