Meet, Make, Move and Chill at CheckPoint. Special guests include Touch Compass NZ, Joshua Pether and music by Irene Zhong, Diimpa, Tony Dowling, Saint Ergo and more.
3 OCTOBER –Arts Wellbeing Collective: Mental Health Matinees
Mental Health Matinees for Alter State will feature the Arts Wellbeing Collective’s Lived Experience Advisory Group leading a panel and then a discussion with the creators of Momentum of Women’s Circus.
8 – 9 OCTOBER – Come And Make Performance
CAMP International is Back to Back Theatre’s delightfully ruthless theatre and art-making workshops delivered online. CAMP Online features Jackie Sheppard (Tagalaka Clan Group), Jo Randerson (Barbarian Productions), writer Andy Jackson and theatre makers Robert Croft and Leisa Shelton.
10 – 31 OCTOBER – Meremere
Meremere is compelling, a story told with artistry and power by Aotearoa – New Zealand artist Rodney Bell | Ngāti Maniapoto. A live performance from Arts Centre Melbourne’s Fairfax Theatre will be available on demand.

The first ever Alter State will be broadcast online from 12 September to 9 October via Arts Centre Melbourne’s website.
Viewers from around the world can access Rodney Bell’s (Ngāti Maniapoto) show Meremere. This award-winning work will be available on demand from 10 October to 31 October.
There will be an online workshop with Come And Make Performance (CAMP) and access to incredible films with Flaunt from The Other Film Festival which will feature on the Australian
Centre for Moving Image’s digital platform Cinema 3.
The community can connect with Curated Conversations from Australian Performing Arts Market, CheckPoint from Arts Access Victoria as well as collaborations with YIRRAMBOI Festival and the Arts Wellbeing Collective.
