Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.

Firstly Thank You to all who attended JMQ’s first week back on Feb 1,  and made it so enjoyable.
And the good times continue…. Coming up this Thursday, on February 8th, 2024, the inimitable celebrity saxophonist-singer WILBUR WILDE shall feature with JMQ Jazz Ensemble at 7pm, playing , singing and entertaining you in stellar company : Tony Floyd, Michael Harding, Barney Loveland + John Montesante. With a prominent career spanning many decades, Wilbur needs no introduction to music-loving audiences.
Doors and Dinner are available from 6.30pm with Live Jazz from 7pm. And there is free onstreet parking after 6pm. We’d love to see you there.
