Roger Grierson has a book. Finally, after 40 years at the music coalface he decided to put all his schtick and experience down in one place. This is the recollections of a kid born in NZ, raised in Fiji and finished at the 1977 school of DIY, then Rasko House (the home of all independent free thinking Sydney music entrepreneurs) before heading up the food chain for a life of getting stuff done, in the form of independent rock, roll, international activity, management, negotiations, insights, etc.

Indie labels Doublethink and GREEN – Management of the Johnnys, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, The Go Betweens, the Wreckery and more – Publisher to Powderfinger, Tex Perkins and others – Promoter of International bands – Chairman of Festival Mushroom Records and all round Lobrow guy. Someone did a Wikipedia on him, it’s a bit creepy but fairly accurate and convenient.
