Darebin’s FUSE Festival returns for an unforgettable one-day festival event of music, dancing and celebration at the iconic Bundoora Homestead Art Centre. About the artists:
Bumpy is an Australian singer, songwriter, producer and Noongar woman. She is the lead singer of band Squid Nebula and is a performer in the First Nations collective DRMNGNOW. She has wowed crowds at BIGSOUND, NIMAS, VIVID Festival, Queenscliff Music Festival, NGV & Dreamtime at the MCG and more with her deeply affecting music; A shimmering collection of R&B and neo-soul. it delicately unravels to reveal a singer of extraordinary ability: emotional, captivating, a towering talent.
DJ JNETT: Inarguably one of Australia’s biggest house luminaries, Melbourne native Janette Pitruzzello aka DJ JNETT has been spinning records and creating heat in Melbourne’s music industry since the early 90s. Having previously presented ABC’s legendary live & dance music TV show Recovery, DJ DJNETT has warmed up crowds for the likes of Frankie Knuckles, Theo Parrish, Moodymann, Danny Krivit, Sadar Bahar, St Germain & Floating Points.
FUSE Festival attendees will embark on a delicious food journey through the Meet The Makers Picnic, where residents share their finest produce, beer and wine in friendly competition. Judged by esteemed local businesses such as Jamsheed Wines, La Siréne Brewing, Constante Imports, and Akimbo Bread, this friendly competition highlights the finest offerings from Darebin’s makers. This long running and much-loved community event provides a unique opportunity to stroll through the showcase while sampling homegrown beverages and produce. Hear first-hand stories from the makers themselves and learn about their inspirations, techniques, and stories.
With children’s entertainment from Victoria University and First Nations celebration with Aunty Brenda Fahey, the whole family can enjoy a marvellous day out at FUSE Festival.

Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.
