In the glass, the wine is rather pale not giving much away until it hits the palate.
The wine opens with ripe lemon, that flows onto the palate, followed by clean flinty notes washing the palate with appealing acid.
The wine is full-bodied, with a stunning mineral-saline, finish that starts at the front and runs the full length of the palate, alive with minerals and acid sprinting all the way to a dry finish line.
For me, the wine did not need food. Simply because it was so damn easy to drink, even at this stage in life because it would really benefit from 4 more years of bottle age before you start pulling the corks. Or in this case, twisting the cap.
However, it just doesn’t have the same romance about it!

It would be hard to find a white wine of any variety, that has brought me so much drinking pleasure today.
I have no idea in what direction this wine will travel, all I know is it has at least 30 years ahead of it, Alas I may not!
Yet another wine that will outlive me! Drink 2027- 2050
