Dear Jazz Lovers,
Sometimes adversity can bring opportunity!
Last Thursday our listed singer had a bad throat, so on the recommendation of a vocal colleague, we took a punt on an artist we had not performed with before, CLAIRE PATTI, who turned out to be simply wonderful – with a beautiful voice and lovely personality. So for those of you who missed that special evening, we shall book her again in a couple of months. ( see photo of her with John)
*THIS WEEK. on Thursday, MAY 12, 2022, JMQ Jazz Ensemble features queen of vocalese, JULIE O HARA and stellar alto saxophonist TIM WILSON at the welcoming Golden Gate Hotel at 7PM. This week's all star lineup shall be Ben Robertson, Hugh Harvey, Michael Harding + John Montesante. Doors 6.30. Live Jazz 7pm – and meals and drinks available too.
