Seth Tabatznik Continues His Rise With Heartfelt New Single “Shining For Love”

Emerging folk artist Seth Tabatznik returns with “Shining For Love,” a luminous and introspective new single released Nov. 7, 2025 via Moth Music (Mother Of The Heart). His previous single, “Choose To Be Alive,” earned support from CLASH Magazine and helped push his catalog past 100,000 streams across platforms, an impressive feat for a newcomer.

While early in his career, Tabatznik is already translating online traction into real-world impact. His debut live performance sold out at South Africa’s Boschendal Estate, followed by another sold-out show at London’s Green Note, positioning him as a fast-rising voice within the indie folk space. With a second album planned for 2026, he’s quickly becoming one to watch.

Raised in London and now living in South Africa’s Western Cape mountains, Tabatznik’s music reflects a deep connection to landscape and spirituality. His sound blends acoustic folk with the contemplative textures of medicine music, resulting in songs that feel rooted in both personal reflection and reverence for the natural world. This artistic pathway has been shaped in part by mentor Nick Mulvey, a key influence on his forthcoming album, and by his longtime guitar teacher, Rainer Scheurenbrand.

“Shining For Love” is among Tabatznik’s most evocative releases yet. The track unfolds like a quiet offering: atmospheric acoustic guitars ripple beneath layers of devotional strings and soft, percussive shakers. At the center is Seth’s voice, warm, earnest, and delivered with a sense of spiritual clarity. Fans of Bon Iver, Noah Kahan, and Mulvey will find familiar emotional territory here, but Tabatznik’s approach carries its own gentle intensity.

“This song came to me in a forest, spoken by the elements around me. It was like nature took my pen and transcribed the lyrics into my notebook, accompanied by a simple 4 chord progression. I love how the song builds and accelerates as a celebration for life, love and nature. This song is all about nature and how her every action comes from a place of love. Every sound, every movement, is her way of expressing herself, as she is one being, of which we are a part, not apart.”

With its intimate storytelling and earthy sonic palette, “Shining For Love” underscores Tabatznik’s growing reputation for crafting folk music with purpose and vulnerability. It’s a tender, resonant step forward from an artist quickly carving out his place in the modern folk landscape.
