The band performs the timeless songs & dance tunes from the golden 60s-70s era of Soul, along with band songs in that same big brassy style. And not only does Grand WaZoo sound musically wonderful, but it also looks the part, with a multi-generational, multi-cultural line up, with wide appeal to all ages.

Featuring Australia’s favourite Soul Man, WYLIE J MILLER with Soul sisters, Ms MELANIE + ANASTASIA, and the legendary WaZoo Horns and Rockin’ Rhythm Masters,  you’ll savour the iconic tunes of Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Sam & Dave, Tina Turner,  Al Green, Martha & The Vandellas, Gladys Knight, Al Green, Mary Wells & many more!

Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972. Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry.Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.
